I understand this to be a recessive trait known as coffey line greybands. I do wish I knew more about their origin. I've seen pics of them sporadically over the past few years and couldn't resist when this pair became available. I purchased them as non eaters, but after a couple lizard scenting pinks were taken they've both been on unscented ever since. the male has been a much better eater and is almost twice the size of the female now.
