g, morn'n, yeah ive been around this site since ~ 96, like most, got tired of the admin's heavyhanded censorship, tho these specialty forums have been somewhat spared ... oh well what should one expect from modern texas; freedom of expression .. ha
I am impressed w/ the behavioral plasticity im observing in these chucks regarding tolerance to urbanization, but the adult males i note take a beating on these local roads in the spring, when theyre bobbing & needing to fyte one another. Pity peeple will not see/avoid small critters on the road ...hopefully if i build my locals enough hiding places & feed them, they wont fall for victim to wanderlust ?
Fd a gophersnake at the front door last night ... ate a f/t quail before leaving... whhooohoo :}
