I noticed in the pics that the nose(rostral) on the one male is very odd and double ridged(or so it appears)



I had not noticed this before, I do have a male that has a double ridged rostral, but no like that one.



The other pics show the azygous and loreals. Which is what makes Mexicans vs. Westerns. So far, these are Mexicans.



Last week a hog popped up northwest of Phoenix which is completely out of their range and its appears to be a Western scale wise and Mexican color and pattern wise. More have to pop up to make it serious.



Next month I am going to check nearby habitats in hopes of finding some mixes or westerns.



So far, observed prey is, lizards, lizard eggs, green toads and spadefood toads. Its normal that the toads popped up in the rainy season and lizards the rest of the year. (so far)



The baby season is coming up(for all snakes around here) That makes it fun and not fun, at the same time. Neonates are moving and getting hit (dor) EVERYWHERE. Flat baby hogs are no fun. On one paved road last year, it was horrible. The hogs moved at rush hour and I could not take it, so I left. That's the sad part.



So far, I am up to 10 hatched nests. Thanks rodents. Cheers
