You can go to: http://www.azgfd.gov/pdfs/h_f/regulations/ReptileAmphibian.pdf for the regulation. Basically all Arizona reptiles are controlled by (property of) the state and cannot be bought, sold, traded, or bartered. There is a limit of 4 specimens of most species, 20 for some, and others cannot be kept. This includes their offspring. Non-native venomous reptiles cannot be brought into the state but most native venomous species can be kept (several are completely protected). Individual cities may have additional regulations for keeping reptiles. There are a few other non-native species that cannot be brought into the state (like snapping turtles, clawed frogs, etc.).
