When I have a baby snake that wont eat, I dip the pinky in egg yolk and then try feeding. I have actually seen this to work with many snake species. I recently tried offering my baby hog a pinky and it refused, I then dipped it in egg and she gulped it right down. She is now taking unscented frozen thawed from my hands. One snake is far too small a sample to say this actually works with hogs. Has anyone else tried this, or are any hog breeders willing to test this for me with more than one picky baby? If this actually yields good results then I expect it is much easier than keeping toads around, as much fun as they are. Thanks. Tyler.
