Posted by: calparsoni at Sun Oct 6 16:38:19 2013 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by calparsoni ] Normally I would not worry much about plant toxicity with most plants for panther's, unless you were talking about something that was toxic to their skin, (i.e. poison ivy or poison sumac etc.) from just a quick google for mountain laurel I did find it is a close relative of rhododendrons/azaleas and has some similar toxic qualities.
