Posted by: Godfrey at Sat Oct 5 08:33:32 2013 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Godfrey ] I have recently acquired a 2013 ruthveni. I received it last Tuesday. I have had pine snakes before and had no problems with them for the most part. This one has refused two offerings of fresh killed mouse fuzzies. I know it was eating rats for the breeder who produced it. I also know they are more timid than corns which I have lots of. Is it uncommon for a pine snake to require more time to settle in to its new environment, or could it be that the issue is its preference for rats over mice? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
