Your new cage for the snake may be completely different than what it was kept in before, and time would be of the essence for it to start feeling secure, and to get used to its' new surroundings. What are the temps? In my experience, pines do better on slightly cooler temps, than say kings and other colubrids. Is there a good hide for the snake?
