So, years ago I remember read on Bert Lang..etc site that Russian torts come from a similar range IN TEMPS as Minn St Paul. The big issue is to much water.

So, has anyone tried to come up with an area for these little guys up North with drainage, and maybe covered to keep it dry?

Not sure why this idea popped back in my head. But I know I was thinking about calling Bert to get his view on it. But sadly he has passed.

I was able to retrieve Bert post on his site from archive.org. I have land, as many. Seems like a neat idea if doable. I just don't know all the other aspects of this species?

thanks
