Until recently I was a huge fan of 1cc of Ivomectin in a gallon of water, shaken well and sprayed over the entire enclosure including the animals, kills mites and I've never had any ill effects to my animals. Recently I was told by other keepers that you can order paracitic mites online that will eat snake mites and die off once all snake mites are gone. I did the research and sure enough its true! And they have no I'll effect on reptiles, they only kill off snake mites and die. I guess folks that have used them swear by them. They are sold by garden supply companies online.
