Posted by: JTK at Sun Dec 8 17:33:43 2013 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by JTK ] Until recently I was a huge fan of 1cc of Ivomectin in a gallon of water, shaken well and sprayed over the entire enclosure including the animals, kills mites and I've never had any ill effects to my animals. Recently I was told by other keepers that you can order paracitic mites online that will eat snake mites and die off once all snake mites are gone. I did the research and sure enough its true! And they have no I'll effect on reptiles, they only kill off snake mites and die. I guess folks that have used them swear by them. They are sold by garden supply companies online. Just Google parasitic mites .. only downfall is they are shipped live and require moderate temps for shipping.. Good luck!
