A male Cornuta once mated a green iguana. The female iguana iguana did not survive the pregnancy. I have experienced mixed results with subspecies of sceloporus. There already is a managery of hybrid ctenosaura and cyclura nubilas. Although this may not be the most desirable thing to happen, what would happen if a male cornuta breed with a closer related subspecies ? Never seen one show any interest in that, ...not likely to happen, but would not rule it out as impossible.
