Hi Helen
I would put the project on hold as you already stated, not enough time for proper quarantine. The look for a male and when you do have one, you could alternate the females each year and have nice healthy litters.
Finding a adult male is not that hard, I even have a few for sale right now on my website. Some of which are proven breeders so you would not run into the same wrong sex problem. ----- Thanks,
