Ok, stupid question, I definitely need to worry about my dog, he has issues. But that's not what I mean.
I posted a similar thread in the old world rat snake forum. But I figured I should as about my pits as well.
I have my northern pine Chingachgook, and as soon as it warms up Jason is sending out yellow bull Norma Jean.
I know that these will grow to be large, powerful animals. I am very particular about how I design cages, I've learned to be very disciplined about what I do when the cages are open. But, mistakes happen, and there's always the possibility of an escape.
Here's where Louis comes in. Louis is my 11 pound rat terrier/toy fox terrier mix. He is insanely important to me. In the event of a pit escape, would he be in danger? I've seen more and more news stories of babies getting killed by pythons. Am I just being paranoid worrying about a bull or pine doing the same to Louis. I imagine he'd freak out and bail if he saw the snake coming, but what if he was asleep.
What do you guys think? How worried should I be......
1.0 white sided eastern rat
1.0 northern pine
0.0 yellow texas bull
2.0 normal corns
waiting for may and hoping to get one of Tim's Russians before they are all gone
0.1 yellow rat if the one I'm wanting is still available in two weeks
and really wanting another taiwan beauty
