Interesting, but raises questions, Are Evans, co-dominates, or a recessive trait?
Are all the offspring completely lacking melanin? If yes and they are a recessive trait, then your right, there are amels.

A hypo can lack all visible melanin, but offspring would express various degrees of melanin. All less then normal.

So you have a amel line(albino) or amel individuals of a hypo line.

Lastly, terms used in a hobby, such as this, are correct if consistently used. As in the popular term for something. It does not have to match any existing definition. If consistently used, it becomes a correct definition and is included in the English dictionary. So to say, its wrong or the people are stupid, or insinuate they are, well Troy, that's wrong.

Look it up or go to another English speaking country. Its time for a biscuit. Hmmmm whats a biscuit? Try getting biscuits and gravy in Australia.
