Interesting, but raises questions, Are Evans, co-dominates, or a recessive trait? Are all the offspring completely lacking melanin? If yes and they are a recessive trait, then your right, there are amels.
A hypo can lack all visible melanin, but offspring would express various degrees of melanin. All less then normal.
So you have a amel line(albino) or amel individuals of a hypo line.
Lastly, terms used in a hobby, such as this, are correct if consistently used. As in the popular term for something. It does not have to match any existing definition. If consistently used, it becomes a correct definition and is included in the English dictionary. So to say, its wrong or the people are stupid, or insinuate they are, well Troy, that's wrong.
