Posted by: Guzerdad at Mon Mar 10 20:20:07 2014 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Guzerdad ] Long time since I posted on this forum (at least 6 Years, though I remember tgreb). I will be going out to the CA desert and was looking for some advice. Have some chucks I collected out there 19 - 24 yrs ago (3 trips on 3 visits with valid fishing license) that are still doing well. Now I will go with my 11 yr old son. When we tried 2 years ago we went to some of my old spots off of Rt 10 near Eagle Mtn Pass and off Rt 62 but didn't see any (though it was only late March so maybe too early). This time we will be out in mid April and I was thinking about trying a little further north in San Bernadino County. Any suggestions as to some good spots so my son can find a nice one? If you are reluctant to post any on the forum you can email me at linn@nki.rfmh.org. I am a responsible chuck enthusiast and will only collect one (May take a lot of pictures though) and do know how to care for them (see above and also have many other helps for many years). Thanks for any suggestions and thanks for keeping the forum going. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] |
