We have a 4 year old female cyclura nublia lewisi hybrid. Recently, we fed her acorn squash, and that didn't seem to agree with her...she was having issues passing what she'd eaten. We got through that issue, but it brought up some questions. We feed her mainly collard greens, supplemented with a couple types of vegetables daily, give treats like banana, mango, and other types of fruit once a week or so. I'm wondering if it's possible to "overfeed" an iguana. I typically don't measure what I'm giving her and I'm wondering if I should be. If so, how much should I be giving her? She's been totally fine up until this most recent issue. Laid eggs in November, was putting on weight like she should have been up until that point, rebounded after laying the eggs, and hasn't had any other issues. We're just trying to ensure that we're doing the best we can for her. I've done lots of research and know what is suitable to feed, but I'm curious as to just how much I should be feeding. Any advice or suggestions would be great!
