That is common with young males. The older ones will eat as they are hooked up (in my collection anyway). The young studs are so preoccupied with gettin' some that the feeding instinct gets repressed. If you are worried about him, separate him and get him in a consistently warm spot (limit his choices). You might even put him in a separate location so he can't smell the girls.
