There are a few people who claim to have Jags but in reality, you can count on less than one hand the breeders who are working with the actual Jag gene.



I have been working with Jags for a couple of seasons now and there is a huge variability in Jags even from the same clutch. There are low expression, high expression, and all levels of expression in between. The high expression jags are easy to pick out but the low expression ones can be tricky if you do not know exactly what to look for.



Here is a jag with a good expression of the gene with what to look for. in the pattern.







And here are a couple of super cool ones I produced last season.
