It doesn't seem to be true of all jags I've seen others post, but every one I have has a greenish cast to the lateral innerscaler skin. Even my red/tan male has green sides. Kinda neat.

Here are two hold backs:

This 2013 male bred his mom this spring, and will complete my second round of test crosses.


Red/Tan Jag male 2013:


Many seem to have these starburst pattern anomalies on their lateral scales as well. This is a little male the day he hatched from 2013;


This gene is very exciting, and I can't wait to see what it does when re-combined with axanthic, lavender, and sable.
