Hello all,

What is the age at which rat snakes - in my case a yellow rat snake - will typically change to adult coloration? Or what is the smallest rat snake you have seen with adult coloration? Do they wait until sexual maturity to change from the brown chain pattern to the black/yellow stripes or is it much earlier?

Thanks,

Austin
