red babies versus yellow babies

We just had our first clutch of GTP babies. m/Wamena x f/?; 10 in all. Much to our surprise they are all red. We thought that clutches typically include both colors and that yellow is more common than red. Anyone have any science/data to shed light on this for us? Were we just misinformed?
