The fact you don't know a species, believe it or not, doesn't make it obscure. Obviously, many European hobbyists are more familiar with the colubrids found in Europe. Similarly, most European hobbyists are more aware of the many species of lacerta. Here only lacerta lepida is well known - that doesn't make lacerta trilineata, for example, an obscure species.
