hi im new to the site anyways ive been working with skinks fo years and i have found uvb is beneficial but try to use a 5.0 for between 8-12 hrs. make sure temps dont get above 82 as 85 and above can be fatal. sometimes they will chill down after they get use to you but keep in mind they're secretive and might get stressed with to much handling. so handling is not out of question but they're not like cresties where they're tolerate of handling. if you have any more questions just ask!!(:
