They looked like they had been Developing Just fine for Most of the Incubation Process. Yesterday was Day 49. They all had thier little eyes and skin and bellys were becoming white and they had Their Scales. They were Just normals....But it was My first time and I lost them all! We had the Vermiculite Right, and the First Improvised Incubator was not holding temps right but that was within the First two weeks that we found that out. We kept candling each week after we moved them into a camping cooler style Incubator. The egg box was one of the six quart shoebox tubs from walmart with the plastic tops....Everything was fine for the next three weeks. Then On Day 35 I had two very discolored and Smelly Eggs! I knew they were dead. I cut them open to see how far they made it. They had very grey Pattern and No Scales yet. After them I vented the incubator and wiped all the condensation off the Top of the container. Once a Day Every Day Until Day 42 when the Next egg Began to Smell.........We candled the Eggs again and the Last 3 were Moving in the Egg and Had Great Veins. We were Hopeful............Until Day 49. When the Two Were Discolored and the candled egg showed no Movement and decreased Veins. Like I said, we cut them all Open. Someone Please tell me what I did Wrong......Please help me So my incompetence will not KILL anymore Innocents! [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
