That is a Desert Kingsnake (Lampropeltis g. splendida), but it is an odd looking one. It could be from southern NM where I have seen some similar but without the central line of dots on the back. The pattern on the side, however, is remniscent of desert kings in the eastern part of their range (central and south Texas, for example). Tough to know exactly where it might be from but it is an atypical splendida.

It may be a captive bred cross of some sort as well, but it is mostly Desert Kingsnake.
