Posted by: spidermah at Thu Jul 17 21:04:48 2014 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by spidermah ] I bred a low white male calico to a heavy black/brown backed normal. Two of the six eggs hatched out calico, but much nicer than their father. They also resemble the mothers dark back. Has anyone hatched out similar looking calicos or do these have potential for something more... Could this be genetic or is it just selective? This is my first time hatching out anything calico and these are pre-shed, day old pics btw. Looking for advice. Thanks. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
