Hi Caracal,

It looks like we have a communication problem in which you seem to think that we are presenting subjects that are in need of peer review for publication. Like you and nasicus are our "reviewing committee" or something. That is not the case, and it is not how these forums work. That method is also not the way that good husbandry info is spread. As TBrophy (I believe) mentioned below, herp husbandry has improved over the last 40-50 years largely through the passing of anecdotal info. The exceptions of course are the few good books out there in which authors like the Barkers, or deVosjoli or others collected anecdotal evidence from keepers who had good results and published them. I'm sorry, but it is just odd to me that you guys demand such levels of scrutiny, when simply reading the results of others and trying the method (or not) is how most of us who have been in this game for a while improved our husbandry.
