Last year Bill Lamoreaux had a breeding of 2 "normal" apricot colored Hebbronville TX locale specific snakes that produced 3 aberrants (1.2) as well as a couple normal ones. The same pairing this year produced another aberrant and there is another clutch cooking now. So it is assumed it's genetic and not just random.
