It is a true leucistic. Look up the genetic meaning and you'll see. Pie Bald is actually a form of leucism as well. I'm aware of the ones in the past that never made it. This guy is however a chow hound, he has grown like a weed in the past year. I have no doubts Walt will get him producing this spring too. I can't wait. I know leucistic westerns are "in peoples collections" now, but to be honest no one has come forward with any proof. I understand people might be fearful because of what happened in the past, but if the zoo auctioned them and they were legally acquired then there should be no reason to be afraid. Till then they will remain on the "lost" list lol. How large were the other leucistic easterns before they passed away?
