I forgot to include in previous post that in my enclosure I have a small container containing about an inch of sphagnum moss that is moist (not soggy). I use the glad containers from Target (they are cheaper and easier to cut for me) and I have cut an opening approx. 2in. in diameter. I place them partially over my heat source as to create a little sauna type environment. I leave that in enclosure at all times, rewetting as needed. My snakes will hang out there when they get ready to shed. Usually get really good one piece sheds. Hope this helps.
