Rat nesting behavior and babies

I have two female rats, one had babies about three weeks ago and the other about one week ago. Originally they had separate nests, but the the older babies moved in with the young ones and now the mothers are sharing feeding them. I'm assuming its OK, as none of the babies have been injured, despite the size difference. But I cannot find any info, and just wondering if its alright to leave them to do their thing?
