This is my first time owning crested geckos but not my first reptile, I also raise panther chameleons, a green tree python, a corn snake, and I had a beardie plus lots of other non-reptilian animals. Im fairly confident that I have a good basic knowledge on crestie care and husbandry and Ive done some research. I have a Zoomed naturalistic terrarium 12x12x18, and its a planted tank with several layers of different substrates for humidity and filtration. had planned on getting a crestie about a month ago and waited for petcos reptile rally to get it at half-off (im aware of the cautions of buying from chain pet stores). I couldnt resist because he was a very pretty crestie, im thinking a flame, and the price was good. It seems pretty healthy as well. The second crestie I got from a local breeder that I met at petco and we did the exchange there. Both geckos appear to be only a few months old, at around 3 inches. However, some of the information the breeder told me didnt seem right. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
