It has become a project in my Kindergarten class and just now the tadpoles are starting to pop out front legs and get toes. Does anyone know how long until the tail will be absorbed and their tongues developed to eat other material than boiled lettuce and store bought tadpole/frog granules? I need to find out what kind of environment to create. He still seems to be swimming under water but is also crawling out of the water onto a shell. I made a corner of the small tank into a land area with moss but don't know quite what to make for him and at what point to give him what he needs for a new diet. Can anyone help me with this?
