However, if he is claiming the red coloration in hogs to be a dominant gene, he is quite mistaken. It is, like most natural color variation, a polygenic trait. It is far from dominant. If it were dominant, you can breed it to any hognose and make extreme reds. However, this is not the case. Learn you genetics buddy.
