Hi Jon, I have both W/c's and CB, and all eat mice either right off, or scent by rubbing a toad on a live rodent a couple times. There has been no problems what so ever. The individuals that required scenting were CB newly hatched. I have a friend that has some W/C kennerlyi from the same area and a couple of his adults do not eat mice. Got me. I have a few westerns and they are very similar, maybe the westerns are a bit more normal. The kennerlyi feed well, but their first response is normally to play that spreading adder thing, then feed. Even the CB's do that.
