All of them defecate from one to three months after eating several meals. When blood pythons do go, they really go and leave a large pile. I think this is typical of the species. Be certain your temps and humidity are correct and a temperature gradient is provided. Most of the time my bloods like cooler temps and seek out the cooler parts of the cage. You can also soak your python in a bath of slightly warm water just deep enough to come half way up the side of the body. That usually promotes defecation.
