Don't be so defensive, as an outsider, calling the non artics, axanthic is kinda silly. . And everything has a genetic path that is proven.
Again, as an outsider, I find wild hogs with a few yellowish scales, the rest is axanthic appearing. If I bred them together i would receive more axanthic neonates and less axanthic looking neonates. And it would not matter what the genetics are called. Simply put, it would be easy to produce axanthic appearing animals.
Don't get me wrong, I love the artics, and I like that name. Maybe you can call the one you posted a Tundra. You known the non white part of artic.
