Hi all! First time on this forum but I was wondering if someone would have any suggestions or advice. I have a three yeard old 4ft long paradigm boa. She is on Large rats which seem rather perfect for her size. Most of the time when I hold her, her stomach will make noises like a stomach growling or something. I just went to hold her yesterday(which was about 72 hours after feeding) and she started to vomit a bit. You could see her throat bulge a bit and a little bit of fluid come out of her mouth. I immediately put her back in her cage and watched her and with her head raised she sat there for a moment and then has been fine ever since. I noticed as well that after a meal, a day or two later the small bulge you see will have grown and it will look like she ate a jumbo. She also will soak the cage with urine when she urinates but I know that can be normal with a well hydrated snake. Her Poo is much larger than any of my snakes as well, even my 8 footer. As far as I can tell it looks healthy though. Little bit of info here. her cage is kept at 78-80 on cool side and a basking spot of 90-92°f on warm side. humidity is kept between 60 and 72% and she is fed every Friday. Thanks for your patience and thought, any input would be awesome!
