Hey everyone,
First off, if this is in the wrong thread I apologize and please let me know which thread this needs to be in and I will delete and re-post.

although I'm technically a new member to king snake forums, I have referenced these threads for many years.

I have been handling non-venomous snakes for many years.

I live in North Florida (Jacksonville) and i'm looking to earn community service hours(for college) and gain 1,000 hours (eventually) of training/handling venomous snakes and attempting to obtain a permit sometime in the next few years.

I have submitted requests to the zoos around my local area to become a volunteer and I have not received a response. If anyone knows of a shop near my area that is in need of a volunteer please let me know!

I have tried to read up on the Florida wild life website but it is not very detailed with EXACTLY what I need for a permit, all I know is 2 references and 1,000 hours of training so if you are familiar with my state laws, your input would be appreciated.

Thank you.
