Posted by: Dboysen at Sun Jun 7 18:27:54 2015 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Dboysen ] I help the local wildlife, and today in my yard I found what I think is a red eared sider giving birth, I know that is what she was doing but what I don't know is what breed it is, It did not have the distinctive RED mark where its ear would or should be. Its underbelly was ORANGE, and NOT AT ALL YELLOW. Went outside to check the spot 5 mins later and she was gone and the spot was covered up.. I told my neighbors granddaughter to leave the spot alone, and she said they give birth live, I said not all turtles give birth live some hatch, But I let the 12 yr old think she was right there is no sense in me a 50yr old adult arguing with a child. I have more photos If you need them [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
