Hello,
About three days ago I found my hognose in her enclosure with her head twisted back and she was twitching. She also had a tense looking kink (best way I could describe it) about 4 inches from her head. the last two days, I found her on her back with her head still twisted and same with the kink... she doesn't move, only twitches. She's about 5 years old, she's in an enclosure 12wide x 30 long x 24 high...she ate about two weeks ago and she defecated yesterday. I was on my way to the vet today, but got stuck in bad traffic and the vet wouldn't give me a later appointment - i won't get a chance to take her to the vet for another week...
any advice would be much appreciated.
