My dog has an abscessed tooth. Our vet put her on tetracycline and it is getting better, but he says there is a 50% chance that the infection will come back again after a few months. I am using tea tree oil on the site, and used yarrow poultices for the first three days to draw the puss out. Is there anything else I should be doing to help clear this up completely, or anything to keep doing once it gets better, to prevent a recurrence? Thanks for your time.
