This was his first 3 month visit... the longest time we had gone between rechecks. As noted before Beni has remained very stable with his glaucoma management over the years but it was a catarct that matured that has robbed his sight. As for the examination it went very well. There was nothing showing on either cornea from the staining and he once again he did well on the tear test. Best of all the most important reading was the 10 they got from the pressure test. Upon examination the tube to the glaucoma valve remains clear and obviously is still working. This is his second valve implant and has lasted over three years. His first one lasted just over 9 months. As a result from this visit I scheduled another one in 3 months but will remain diligent with my monitoring of his eyes.
