If that is the case, keep him from contact with other dogs until he is 12 weeks old, vaccinate him one time with DHLPP, and he should be set for life with that vaccine. If you have any doubts, you can run a titer for Distemper and Parvo at 6 months. He should then get no other shots other than rabies ever again, and for that use a 3 year vaccine.
