Hey Chelle... good to see you again. Congrats on the new addition to the family! I can tell you about 3 dogs...lol! At first it was a little bit overwhelming but once I got used to it taking care of 3 isn't so different than taking care of two. If there is a plus it's that your three seem to get along well with each other. Regarding Katsu's allergies have you ever considered doing a blood allergy test versus the skin test? It's far less invasive than making the dog itch and you can test for so many more allergens. I'm glad I did with Toshi so many years ago and her allergies have been under control for quite some time. Hopefully your sil can get things straigtened out both for her and her dog.
