i have had a black moor goldfish for over a year now, for the past month or two its one eye has been significantly larger than the other, i tried treating the water with a medicine that another site recommended by that hasnt helped. it looks like there could have been a scratch on the area right near the eye. any idea what is causing this problem or what i can do to fix it?

i was also wondering how to determine the sex of these fish?
