HI,

I'm currently in the process of a "serious upgrade" and intend to put in an approx. 6,000 gallon pond this spring/summer. I enjoy the DIY aspect and intend to try to do everyting (except the excavation) myself. I'm not too savvy about mixing and matching equipment etc., so I'm investigating some of the DIY kits available. Does anyone have any recommendations re: manufacturers and brands to consider? I have sufficient budget to go reasonably high end (but there's obviously a limit!). I looked at the Sacramento Koi kits which look excellent but possibly more than I need.

It will be koi and goldfish, but I'm more interested in aesthetics than breeding award winners!

Thanks.
