We are building a raised rectangular koi pond out of concrete block in our atrium/courtyard. We intend to use an EDPM liner on the inside of the pond and then slate over the concrete block exterior and top.

The question/concern we have is how we can ancor or secure the liner to the inside of the pond? We want to slate over the top/lip of the pond (as well as the exterior sides) so we are not sure how to keep the liner in place. We've searched Koi pond website but haven't been able to find any answers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
