We have had this since beginning of summer. Ive done little to it, adding algeafix every so often, water appears clear, but rocks/gravel are not only developing what I think is normal algea, but also a algea that is almost "aqua" in color. How often are filters to be changed ? I have 2 media filter pads and bag of lava rock in my waterfall, not sure about maintenance of the skimmer, what is the timeframe and upkeep of these things.
