Well, I know this was posted quite awhile ago, but on the chance you haven't moved yet I'll help a little.
I have found an easier way to move fish is getting a large cooler with a draining spout. This way they have room to move and on a long trip you can do a partial water change at rest stops (use water from your old place if possible). If you make any avernight stays on the way bring some sort of agitator with you to get oxygen in the water. As long as the cooler is secure in the car you can pop the top a little. That should be enough to keep the water oxygenated while driving. I would also suggest using your cars airconditioning if going through somewhere hot, as warm water holds less oxygen.
